Recent Conrad Review: "On Sunday when we checked out I called down to Guest Services at approximately 10 AM, asked the lady to have someone come up and pick up our bags and she in turn asked if I needed my car brought around and I told her yes, and gave her the number on my ticket. An hour later we decided to take our own bags down to the lobby and I proceeded to check out. When I walked out my car had not been brought around either. So there was a mad scramble to get it done, everyone was apologetic but this should not have happened in a hotel such as the Conrad, who lives on their reputation of service and fine accomodations. I was also a little surprised that the restaurant was a coat and tie facility as most places today are business casual or just casual. I understand that the clientel they attract our use to eating in the upscale restaurants as are we but as we had just come home from vacation we did not bring any dress clothes so we we unable to eat at this facility. This hotel is located right in the heart of the downtown section of Indianapolis and is situated close to many wonderful restaurants that do not require a coat and tie. I think this was the second disappointment for us as we had eaten at gourmet restaurants on our entire vacation and were looking forward to eating at this establishment but that was not a problem for either of us. I will say that because our bags and vehicle were not brought around on time that we were unable to attend the worship service we had planned on in fact it was to late to attend church. Would I stay at this hotel againr Yes. Would I recommend it to my friendsr Yes. This was a hiccup that should not have occured and would not expect it to be repeated on our next stay in Indianapolis."

| This was an outstanding hotel, probably the nicest I have ever
stayed in. The only thing that
did not meet my expectations was
the fact that it was stated that
the Skywalk went to Lucas Oil
Stadium. It went part way but
not all the way. That was the main reason I picked this hotel.
I would stay again, the staff was
excellent and the room was terrific. |

| First,we stayed a total of three nights (big mistake, it was the weekend of the motogp)racing all night til 2:30am. You would think being on the eighteenth floor you might not hear so much noise from the road below-not the case, it was like our window was wide open! When we left at 9am and did not get back to our room til around 4pm, the room was never cleaned, it was exactly how it was when we left. When we called at least 10 minutes prior to walking down stairs to have them bring our car around, we waited.....and waited-so unacceptable! For the price we paid to stay here.....absolutely not worth it. Will not stay here again.
When checking out, I then mentioned at the desk if this is how they run their hotel, they apologized and said the hotel manager would call me when I got home later on that afternoon (we were out of town and allowed for travel time). Two days later, never heard from anyone, when I called-too busy! |

| The location in downtown can't be beat. There is a walkway to the Circle mall, and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful.
There were just a few small things that were rather annoying, especially considering the cost of the room. Our phone never did work for calling outside the hotel. Someone in the room prior to our stay put a block on it, and it wasn't removed. One side of the mattress was off the bed frame, and you'd sink halfway to the floor when you tried to lie down. We had to push it back on ourselves - not easy, since the mattresses are huge & heavy. Our room was also located next door to the service elevators & housekeeping room. It wasn't too loud, but you could hear the elevators running all night - just enough to be disturbing. They really were small things, but with the price you pay for a room at the Conrad, not something you'd expect. |

| We stayed here on part of our honeymoon and were blown away. The staff was excellent and the hotel itself was nothing short of gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was the best hotel bathroom ever. Room service was prompt and courteous. Location is perfect and close to anything downtown. Overall one of the best experiences ever. We will go back. |
