Recent Country Inn Carlson Review: "I had spent all day outside and was wanting to take my four-and-a-half-year-old daughter swimming. We got our suits on and went to the pool. There were a few people in the pool already, so I didn't think there was anything wrong. After putting our towels on a table, I went to step down the stairs. I got quite a shock from the temperature of the water! It was cold! One person nearby said that the water was cold and that I should just get all the way wet and get it over with. My daughter took several minutes of climbing up and down the stairs before she only got wet up to her waist. It would have been nice of the hotel to post, somewhere, that the pool isn't heated. That way other people dont expect nice warm water when they are looking forward to a dip in the pool.
Other than that, our stay was very pleasant. No other complaints. I would stay there again. I just wouldn't use the pool. :)"

| The road sign was missing and being on a motorcycle......that is important.
We wished the hot tub would have been working, this was one of the MAIN reasons we wanted to stay there....again after riding a motorcycle at night, its was chilly to say the least....would have been nice to have warmed up in it. |

| The hotel is a great find, good food and great staff, unfortunately it can be noise on the freeway side. And for us it was difficult due to a large group of young softball players making noise into the late evening, we complained and the issue was apparently addressed to the chaperons, but you'd hope that folks would be more polite upfront. |

| We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend and got 2 nights for the price of one. The room and service were great. We would definitely stay there again. The free breakfast was much better than we expected and was very good. |

| The Country Inn was a good hotel for a short stay. The only drawback was its proximity to the highway. We were in a room on the north side of the building and the entrance ramp to I 465 was right below our window. The traffic noise started about 5:30. Ask for a room on the south side if possible. The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly. |
