| I think I got the last available room in Bloomington for an I.U. event, I was rather surprised at the quality of my stay. |

| Inexpensive, clean, friendly help, large room, limited free breakfast, plenty of parking, and I would stay there again. |

| I read the other poor reviews and they are correct, the hotel is well worn. But we needed a 1-night stay at a low price and it was just fine. Bed, bath, & towels were clean. Shower was hot with good pressure, everything worked. Breakfast was minimal. It was by-far the lowest cost in town. For a short 1 or 2 night stay, it will suffice. Not recommended for a longer stay or to impress your spouse :>)
But we found it perfect for what we needed and I'll consider another short stay. |

| This is an older hotel in the middle of renovation. When I first entered, I had doubts. The halls are dingy and musty. The elevator has seen much better days. But the room was spacious and clean.
The 'continental breakfast' left a lot of room for imagination. Juices and toaster waffles had to be requested at the front desk. The 3 bagel and 4 muffins were lackluster.
But for the price, I couldn't complain much. I'll just say, you get what you pay for. |

| In a word, it was shabby. Other suitable words would be worn, battered, tattered, frayed, forlorn, frazzled, funky, smelly, musty, almost creepy. |

| Maid service was awful. When we had a do not disturb sign they dumped a bag of clean towels outside our door. The next day they ignored the do not disturb at 9:15 in the morning, even tho check-out was not for 2 hrs. and banged on the door. Tried calling front desk twice and it rang 20 times before I gave up. Won't go back again. |

| rooms and public areas somewhat run down, needs new (or just cleaner) carpet throughout. Mattresses soft, room furnishings show signs of age. Wireless internet is advertised, but I had no access from my room on the fourth floor. |

| Bed, towels, bathroom were all fine, but the building is not well maintained. The price was high, probably because of the IU football game that day. |

| Fit the description of earlier reviewers. There was no functional pool; the elevator had seen better days, the bathroom needed caulk and the towels were a bit rough, but the location was great, staff was friendly, breakfast was OK and the bed was comfortable and clean |
