Recent Days Kokomo Review: "Simply put, I booked my reservation and fully expected to get to the hotel by 8pm. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't done with my assignment until approximately 1am and had a difficult time trying to get to the hotel (it was dark and there was a ton of black ice). Yet, by far the best part of my stay was in the greeting I got that night (2:30am) by the lady at the front desk when I finally arrived: "We're glad you were able to finally arrive safely. Your room is all set and ready for you. Did you require anything, such as a wake-up callr" Personally, I thought that the room may have been rented out to someone else by then (since it was a fairly busy weekend for hotels...or so it seemed). She also informed me of the continental breakfast (ending at 10am), yet they were kind enough to let me grab some food anyway despite it being 10:30am (I think my experience with that was more a major exception rather than the rule, but I'm very greatful). Anyhow, given that the night outside was so cold and windy, the room was a truly welcomed relief for me. First of all, I was lucky in that it was directly next to the parking area, so I didn't have far to walk from the car to the room. Second, upon opening the room door, the room was perfectly toasty warm...but not overly warm. A truly welcomed relief. The room itself was a standard room with a king sized bed, a TV with basic cable, and wireless internet access. The room itself was very clean, and everything appeared to be just in the right place. The bed itself was firm, yet had one of those pillow top covers. Being that I've never slept on such before, it felt real nice and I ended up falling asleep VERY QUICKLY (within 5 or 10 minutes) despite wanting to watch the TV to get a quick look at the weather (the TV had a sleep timer too). The pillows appeared to be a combination of 2 actual down feathered pillows and 3 mock feather style pillows (there were 5 pillows in all). Other room amenities that I wasn't expec"
