Recent Four Points Sheraton Carmel Review: "This was our second stay at this particular hotel and just as the first time, everything was outstanding. Check-in was smooth and seamless. The staff throughout our entire stay was very warm and cordial, without exception. We found more places to eat within the immediate area. And our planned avtivities went off without a hitch. One very small event was our unknowingly drinking beers and a member of our group was smoking a cigar in the open air courtyard area. A member of management came out to inform us of the hotel policy banning this kind of activity in the courtyard. He was very apologetic for any inconvenience and was extremely good-natured about it. We certainly took no offense and offered our apologies. My thought is it would be very helpful if a sign were posted to inform guests of the courtyard policies. Other smokers had been in and out prior to the managers appearance. We just happened to be present when he came through. Again, we were in no way upset by this and we won't let it stop us from returning to this hotel in the future."
