Recent Hilton Garden South Greenwood Review: "As a pilot, I am rather shocked to hear that this hotel does not offer pickup service from the Greenwood Airport, which is within sight of the hotel. Nonetheless, the hotel is exceptionally clean and reasonably priced. The Queen Jetted tub room was awesome with two HDTVs (one for the kids!) and a nice channel selection. Pool was clean and well stocked  -- especially given the large number of tween girls there for a party! The bedding was very nice and a perfect clean smell. The one odd thing is that the hotel advertises at the front desk some type of adjustable mattress, but the settings do not seem to change the firmness of the mattressr Anyway, the bed was still very comfy. And the bathroom was near surgical sterile in cleanliness. Overall, a great hotel! However, as a private pilot, I would love to be able to write an equally nice review for fellow pilots who want to stop for the night. The Greenwood Airport is a convenient stopover (with a mile-long runway). It is a shame that I can write about a great hotel, if the pilot doesn't mind walking a mile or so. It just seems as though a cheap minivan may pay for itself. Lastly, for out-of-town travelers: The hotel is along I-65 which leads right into downtown in just a 10 minute drive (not including rush hour!). There is a Kroger grocery store right across the street and several restaurants nearby. Mall is only 5 minutes away. Great value,and the very minor negatives far outweigh the quality of this property."
