Recent Jw Marriott Indianapolis Review: "My wife and I stayed here opening night. The lobby is huge and has really nice, expensive finishes. There were plenty of friendly staff members to assist us in checking in. They all seemed to try a little too hard to make a first impression though since it was opening night, so the service was a little overbearing. But I'm sure they will tone it down  after awhile. There is a busy bar/lounge area next to the lobby, and since there's no carpet, the lobby was really loud. Which is where the confusion started... There was a guest with the same last name that had already checked in. The clerk misheard us and somehow checked us in to the other guest's room (while he was in it). When we went back down to the front desk, the staff was very apologetic about the mistake and gave us a room on a higher floor. The room was very nice. It was luxurious and had a great view of the city. There's valet parking or self park in the JW Marriott garage for a few dollars less, but if you really want the best value, use the Indiana Government Center's parking garage. It's connected to the hotel by a skybridge, and it costs $10 (cash or check only) to park overnight. You have to enter on S Missouri St. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely stay here again!"
