Recent Microtel Indianapolis Airport Review: "We arrived kind of early and were given a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. Kind of annoying, but I'd rather have the room than have waited to get a non-smoking room. Everything else about this hotel was basically amazing. We were in town for GenCon and decided to take a cab to the convention center (which is in the same area as Lucas Oil Field, if you are in town for a game) and the cab ride to the convention center was 15-16 dollars each time (for some reason the cab ride back was always 20-21 dollars). Checkout was at noon, for all those late nights, and they left breakfast out as late as 11:30 -- also awesome for late nights. The staff was really nice and the restaurant next door (owned by the hotel, I think) was good, with nice staff, and stayed open serving food and beer until about 3. Was expecting just a serviceable place to sleep during the convention, but ended up really happy with this hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone and will likely book at this hotel again next year."
