Recent Staybridge Downtown Conv Review: "With the reasonable rate and long list of amenities, I wasn't sure how bad the place would actually be.
First of all: friendly and helpful staff. That cannot be overstated. It's the only thing we have these days and it better be right. This was spot on.
Second: Can I say cleanr No kidding. Every area of the room, kitchenette, and bathroom were spotless. No kidding. Not a single mark of mold or even water spots on the tile in the bathroom--nothing.
Third: a few blocks from all areas and directly next door to the football arena. I got to the convention center in about 10 minutes walking. The hotels closer were a good $70 more without the kitchenette. Definitely worth the short walk.
Fourth: The $7 airport shuttle drops off at the rear of the hotel and picks up directly across the street. Sure beats a $32 cab ride!
Fifth: the amenities were ACTUALLY worthwhile. Free wifi, kitchenette, laundry, workout room, pool, business suite (with a printer), and a small convenience store that was reasonably priced."
