| Lately, I tend to stay in hotels since I started traveling for work 3 years ago. This time it was personal business and the hotel was cheaper than others in the area, but I got what I paid for. It was a comfortable room with a comfortable bed, microwave, refrigerator, and cable TV. The room was nice for the price, but obviously would've been better for a higher price. The hotel was next to a gas station w/ McDonald's. Waffle House across the street and a few miles from a Wal-Mart, Applebee's, and civilization. If you're looking for peace and quiet at a discounted rate in the middle of nowhere and you're not picky about amenities and ultra-cleanliness, then Super 8 Shelbyville would be a good fit for you. |

| Room was reasonably priced. Hotel was alright, but could have used a little renovating. |

| We recently stayed at the Super8 in Shelbyville because we were attending a wedding in the town. The room was filthy! the basin looked as though someone was smoking and using it for an ashtray, it has several burn marks on it, the shower was filthy, the waste baskets had no liners in them, there was stains on the carpet and walls. we walked in and the hall ways smelled like smoke, we are none smokers, and asked for non smoking room, (which also smelled like smoke). Needless to say I was not happy at all. But then all we needed was a place to lay our heads at night! |

| Rooms could be updated, fairly decent. Very friendly and helpfull service. Close to cassino. |

| This was a good average hotel for the money. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and cost efficient. |
